We have made it to the fall anime season, and we are looking at some standouts, but fall always feels a little different. As a long time anime watcher, there are just certain shows that come out in the fall and winter that tend to be a little different from the shows that come out during the spring and summer. You can blame it on the weather changes, but we are always excited, nonetheless.
At Talk Out Daily, we’re especially excited about this lineup because it’s packed with finales, long-awaited sequels, emotional journeys, and even a nostalgic remake that’s climbing right into our top three. These aren’t just must-watch titles. These are the shows we’re personally looking forward to most. So, grab your snacks, get your watch list ready, and let’s talk about our favorite anime of fall 2025.
My Hero Academia – Final Season

Let’s start with the big one. My Hero Academia is heading into its final season, and that alone makes it one of the most important anime this fall. The story is set to adapt the last arcs of the manga, which ended about a year and a half ago, and it should also cover the post-battle time skip. For anime-only fans, this is where everything comes together. For manga readers, it’s bittersweet to finally see the ending we already know brought to life with full animation, voice acting, and music. After a decade, My Hero Academia has shaped modern shonen for an entire generation, and this last season is the farewell we’ve all been waiting for.
Ranma ½ – Season 2

Right behind My Hero Academia is one of our absolute favorites this season. Ranma1/2 returns with Season 2 of its Netflix remake, and we could not be more excited. This remake reintroduces Rumiko Takahashi’s classic 1989 romantic comedy to new viewers while trimming filler and updating the animation for modern audiences. Season 1 was a hit, mixing nostalgia with fresh energy, and now Season 2 is set to keep that momentum going. For longtime fans, it is a chance to revisit Ranma and Akane in style. For new fans, it’s the perfect way to experience a series that helped shape anime history.
Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits – Season 2

It’s been a long wait since Season 1 aired back in 2018, but Kakuriyo: Bed and Breakfast for Spirits finally return this fall. Adapted from a light novel, the show blends isekai elements with romance and drama, creating a cozy but emotional experience. The story follows Aoi as she works at a traditional inn in the hidden world of ayakashi (spirits). Season 2 continues her journey of growth, relationships, and supernatural challenges. It’s warm, heartfelt, and it’s one of our personal favorites returning this season.
To Your Eternity – Season 3

Few series can break your heart and inspire you in the same breath as To Your Eternity. Fushi’s story continues in Season 3, and we are ready for more of its mix of world-building, tragedy, and hope. This anime is not always easy to watch, but it’s one of the most rewarding. If you want something emotional, thoughtful, and beautifully told, To Your Eternity is a standout this fall.
One Punch Man – Season 3

After years of waiting, One Punch Man is back. The last season aired in 2019, so anticipation is sky-high. Fans are especially interested to see how faithfully Season 3 will follow the manga’s storyline. We recognize that manga readers and anime only fans hoping for accuracy or just wants more of Saitama’s overpowered antics, there’s no denying that One Punch Man is one of the biggest returns this fall. Let us see what the fan base gets and hope that they get what they have faithfully waiting on. Anything less will be disappointing to this base, as they deserve nothing but the best.
Spy x Family – Season 3

The Forger family is back for more action, comedy, and heart. Spy x Family has been one of the most consistent hits of the past few years, and Season 3 promises even more of what fans love. Loid’s missions, Yor’s secret life, and Anya’s hilarious antics make this show a perfect balance of laughs and heartfelt storytelling. It’s always on our favorites list whenever it airs.
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill – Season 2

Here’s a cozy isekai that has earned a loyal fanbase. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill returns for Season 2, and fans are hyped. We’ve seen the excitement firsthand in our Talk Anime Daily community, and it is clear people can’t wait for more Mukouda and his absurdly powerful cooking skills. It is lighthearted, it’s fun, and it’s one of the perfect comforts watches this fall.
Kingdom – Season 6

The epic continues. Kingdom Season 6 is on the way, and fans of historical war dramas have plenty to look forward to. Based on Yasuhisa Hara’s manga, this series has been telling the story of China’s Warring States period with a mix of strategy, politics, and massive battles. There is some frustration among fans since Season 5 still hasn’t been dubbed into English, but that hasn’t stopped excitement for what comes next in this sprawling saga.
A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai – Season 1 (Fall 2025, New)

New isekai debuts every season, and this one has caught our attention. A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai is based on a light novel and brings a new survival-fantasy spin to the genre. As a fresh series, it’s still unknown how it will land with fans, but we’re keeping it on our radar. Sometimes these smaller premieres end up being the biggest surprises.
Gachiakuta (Cour 2)

We’ve been reading and following Gachiakuta closely, and it remains one of the most exciting ongoing shonen adaptations. Known for its gritty setting, creative power system, and emotional storytelling, it’s the kind of series that keeps us hooked week after week.If you’re not already watching or reading the manga, fall is the perfect time to jump in.
One Piece (Ongoing)

And of course, One Piece continues. With over 1000 episodes, it’s the king of long-running anime and always a constant presence on our seasonal watch lists. Every new arc adds something new, and fall 2025 is no different. Sometimes it feels like One Piece is the glue that holds the anime community together, and we’re glad it’s still here with us this season.
